April 9th, 2011
Three-D Velocity 1.5 has been released! As always, future updates are shaped by player feedback, and improvements we think will make the upgrade worthwhile. With more feedback from your Radio Intercept Officer, numerous bug fixes, and other minor improvements, this update is packed with changes and all-around improvements. Games saved with earlier versions of Three-D Velocity will be compatible with this version. However, please take note that going forward, we are dropping support for saved games from earlier versions. Version 1.5 will be the last version to support saved games from version 1.0 onward. Any future updates will only support games saved with version 1.5 or later. To find the full list of changes in this update, visit the Downloads page. As always, you can either download the full setup program, or just download the upgrade version from the "Patches and Upgrades" section on the Downloads page. Any future updates will also drop support for previously released upgrades. To install a later version of Three-D Velocity, you must have at least 1.5 installed. Dropping support for previous upgrades in the upgrade installer will allow us to make the upgrade installer's size significantly smaller.Three-D Velocity 1.3 Includes Localization Fix, Balance Improvements
December 28th, 2010
An update has been released for Three-D Velocity. This update solves a crash on foreign-language systems when loading a saved game. Three-D Velocity would crash with a "Format Exception." We would like to thank Fredrik Andersson for testing and confirming the fix for this issue. We have also made some balance adjustments to the game. Fighter waves no longer appear as frequently as they did in previous releases. There have also been some adjustments during the final fight.
Three-D Velocity version 1.3 will install over 1.2 and any previous release of the game; in addition, games saved with those versions will be compatible with this version.
Version 1.3 uses the same licensing scheme as 1.2. Therefore, if you have not already done so, you will need to update your license before version 1.3 will register successfully. Please visit the license regeneration page to update your license. You will need your Pay Pal Transaction ID when updating the license; this is not the ID which is in your Pay Pal order receipt Email. If you did not receive a message from us containing your Transaction ID, please contact us to obtain this ID.

Release Date Set For Three-D Velocity
October 18th, 2010
The release date for Three-D Velocity has been determined. We anticipate a release on or before November 15th, 2010. Get ready to be thrown into a world where everything from betrayal to death is possible, where you can't just close your eyes and pretend it's not happening, where you stand one final, slim chance against the world's worst nightmare come true, and where the only hope for humanity is a team of the best fighter jet pilots and military personnel called Storm Falcon. With just one aircraft, the fate of the world, starting with the fate of the world's superpower, is in your hands. As the game enters the final testing phase, we are doing all we can to ensure that the release is as problem-free as possible. The full game will no longer use the Web Installer because of reported problems while downloading the setup program. Instead, we have opted to allow the user to download the full game directly from the site, with both 32-bit and 64-bit binaries packaged into one installer. Just like the Web Installer, the full install will make sure you have all the necessary prerequisites before it will allow you to install the game. Three-D Velocity can run on Windows XP, Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit), and Windows Seven (32-bit and 64-bit.) Windows 2000 and earlier are no longer supported. Based on your continued feedback, we have fixed several bugs and made countless improvements to the game. We would like to thank all of you who took the time to send in suggestions and constructive criticism. After two and a half years of development, we are finally ready to roll out the first ever fully accessible fighter jet simulation for blind and visually impaired gamers. Three-D Velocity will retail for $50.00 USD, plus any tax and processing fees. We estimate the final price to be near $53.00 USD. There will be a kick off sale on this title, whose sale price is yet to be determined. Note: If you participated in the Documentation Test Cycle with BPC and qualified for a fifty percent discount on the game, this discount can ONLY be applied to the full retail price and will NOT be applied to the discounted price. Three-D Velocity is not available on physical media at this time. You may subscribe to the BPC Discussion Email list to stay informed about the progress of the release. Subscription details are on our home page.Treasure Hunt Update Supports 64-bit Windows
May 12th, 2010
An update to Treasure Hunt is available. This version adds 64-bit support, and enhances game play. When a guard would spot the player, the game would temporarily stall until the battle music begins playing. This issue has been corrected. Further, if the unlimited health cheat is activated, the player is able to walk over mines unharmed.
In previous versions, Treasure Hunt would crash on 64-bit versions of Windows Vista and Windows Seven with the message "The sound is not of a valid format to be loaded into a three-d positional buffer."
Note to Windows Vista and Windows Seven users: You will need to run Treasure Hunt in administrative mode if you are running a restricted user account. You can do this by right-clicking the "Play Treasure Hunt" item in your Start Menu, and then clicking "Run as administrator."

If you find that sounds are playing through multiple sound card devices (if you have more than one card installed,) or if you find that running Three-D Velocity changes the speaker configuration setting in your control panel, please download this patch. You will need to have the full version of the game installed before installing the patch. The patch is NOT included in the full install of the game, and must be downloaded separately. To download it, click "Downloads" and then "The Patches Area."
Three-D Velocity Update, With 64-bit Support
March 28th, 2010
An update to Three-D Velocity has been released! This is the final update before the release of the full version. This version corrects a crash when a game controller was enabled. There have also been several changes. These include a "Learn Game Sounds" option in the program group of TDV, and the ability to change game performance options if you hear stuttering audio.Three-D Velocity now officially supports 64-bit processors; if you are running a 64-bit version of Windows, the game will automatically install the 64-bit version for you. Players on a 64-bit processor will notice significant performance enhancements. This is because when a program runs in emulated 64-bit mode (commonly called woW-64,) it cannot take advantage of the full processing power of the system.
Also, due to popular request, we have enhanced the installer for the game. You will be able to update DirectX, and install .NET Framework directly from the installer if you choose to do so. This will make installing and running TDV more convenient, since all required components can be installed during the installation of Three-D Velocity. After the components are installed, setup will download and install TDV.
Please note for 64-bit users: you will need to manually uninstall previous versions of Three-D Velocity before installing the new version. After you install the new version, any future installation will prompt you to remove the older version. For 32-bit users, starting with the current installer, you will no longer have to remove older versions; the installer will do it for you.
Meanwhile, we are working hard to release the game before the end of this year.
Good luck, and happy flying!
